Paschal was appointed Non-Executive Director in 2001 and Chairman in 2009. An experienced finance professional with significant commercial expertise, he was formerly Chairman of Orbiscom plc and has been Chairman of a number of Irish and international businesses.
John was appointed Non-Executive Director in 2006. He is MD of IIU. In representing IIU on various private and publicly quoted Boards, he has significant experience in international technology businesses. Prior to IIU John was in the corporate finance department of NCB. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
Roger is a private investor and company director. A Chartered Accountant, he spent 4 years in General Practice and 4 years in Corporate Finance in KPMG. Having been with National City Brokers and Dedeir, he then became GM of IFSC South Block Ltd. He is currently self-employed and advises on finance, strategy and development.
Peter is a practising lawyer and partner at law firm Maples and Calder. He specialises in aviation law and litigation, advising many Irish and English underwriters on liability claims matters. Peters acts for most major carriers operating out of the Republic of Ireland. He holds a BA Mod. (Legal Counsel Science) and an LLB.
Garry is Chief Innovation Officer and Head of MasterCard Labs for MasterCard Worldwide. He holds a B.Sc in Computer Applications from DCU. His experience in software and financial services is primarily focused on innovation and the technology and business development aspects of deploying complex, large scale payment systems.
The Group has adopted the provisions of the UK Corporate Governance Code (April 2016) and the additional requirements of the Irish Annex, with effect from 1 January 2011 and is committed to high standards of corporate governance as set out in the Code.
The Irish Stock Exchange requires Irish listed companies to make a statement on how they have applied the principles and a statement of how they complied throughout the accounting period with the provisions set out in the Code and the Irish Annex. Unless otherwise stated, where these requirements are of a continuing nature, compliance has been achieved throughout the year.
