Aviation Festival Asia 2026: Key Datalex Takeaway
The discussion spanned a range of critical topics – from the different OOSD procurement approaches airlines are adopting, including single-vendor, best of breed, and hybrid models, to the wider challenges and opportunities involved in moving toward a modern retailing environment. A clear takeaway was that there is no one-size-fits-all path, and airlines require the flexibility to evolve at their own pace and in line with their individual strategies.
At the core of this approach is our Stellex Offer & Order Management solution – a modular platform purposefully built for Modern Airline Retailing. Stellex enables airlines to operate effectively in a hybrid as they transition to full Offer & Order, ensuring continuity while unlocking new future-proof capabilities.
In parallel, Datalex is continuing to invest in strategic partnerships with like-minded technology providers to help airlines achieve true modularity and flexibility and giving them the freedom to select solutions that best fit their needs. Our ongoing Proof of Concept work with IATA further demonstrates this commitment, showcasing the modularity and interoperability of our solution within a broader ecosystem.
With more PoC initiatives planned for the year ahead, we remain focused on advancing collaborative, modular approaches that help airlines fully realise the benefits of Modern Retailing.
